A Mexican Navy sailing ship festooned with lights and a giant flag crashed into the landmark Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday night, shearing the top of its masts, killing two people and injuring several others,

Two people died and more than a dozen were hurt when a Mexican navy training ship hit the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday in New York City, officials said.  The NTSB said Sunday morning they were launching a go-team to investigate the incident.

The historic ship's three masts were snapped when a mechanical malfunction caused it to veer into the bridge, Mayor Eric Adams said.
