Carlos Alcaraz showed his class after beating Jannik Sinner to win the Italian Open on Sunday. It was their biggest meeting yet as they faced off in a Masters 1000 final for the first time. Alcaraz came out on top, saving set points in a close opener before racing through the second to win 7-6 (5) 6-1.

After an absorbing first set, Sinner's understandable lack of match toughness saw Alcaraz dance to victory in Rome.
