The 2025 men’s basketball ACC/SEC Challenge will be contested Dec. 2-3. Tennessee will face Syracuse for a second consecutive season. The Orange will host Tennessee on Dec. 2 at JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York. A game time and ESPN network designation will be announced at a later date.

The ACC announced on Thursday the pairings and dates for the 2025-26 ACC/SEC Challenge in basketball, but Cal will not be part of the Challenge on the men’s side. Cal will participate in the women’s ACC/SEC Challenge,

Much like the previous matchup, there isn’t a lot to go off here. Boston College will likely be picked to finish last in the ACC this season, and LSU will be trying to get back into the NCAA Tournament with a roster that would be pretty solid in most years in the SEC but doesn’t look all that impressive relative to how loaded the league has become.
