Israel’s military wrote in a post on X that millions of Israelis were “running for shelter as sirens sound” in dozens of cities and communities around the country.
Sirens sounded in Jerusalem and the area following the launch of a missile from Yemen. IDF says the missile fell in the area of Hebron and no interceptors were launched.
Israeli emergency services have said at least two people were killed in the strikes and dozens of people are injured.
Iran's senior military officials said the war would "spread in the coming days to all areas occupied by this [Israeli] regime and American bases".

The IDF this evening (Thursday) identified the launch of a missile from Yemen toward Israeli territory, IAF aerial defense systems are operating to intercept the threat. Minutes after the official statement, sirens were heard in dozens of communities across the country, including the Jerusalem area, Judea, Gush Etzion, Mateh Yehuda, and Modi'in.
The man stated he felt “abandoned” by UK's foreign office and stated that Jerusalem was “strange” and “eerie” after the attack.
