The Pittsburgh Pirates added Chris Truby and Gene Lamont to skipper Don Kelly's coaching staff on Friday. The staff has been in flux since the team fired manager Derek Shelton on May 8, just over one month into his sixth season with the team.

It's a return to the Pirates dugout for Lamont, who was Pittsburgh's manager from 1997 to 2000 and a coach under Jim Leyland in the 1980s and early '90s.
