To select multiple files on Windows 10 from a folder, use the Shift key and select the first and last file at the ends of the entire range you want to select.

When you select a file in File Explorer, it automatically highlights it. Similarly, if you select multiple files in File Explorer, it will highlight all the selected files.

Step 2: Long-press on a folder to compress the whole folder. To select specific files, long-press on one of the files to enable multiple selections, then select the other files.
