The Phillies bullpen is searching to fill the hole left by Jose Alvarado, who was suspended 80 games by MLB earlier this week for a PED violation.

Philadelphia was dealt a significant blow over the weekend when ace reliever José Alvarado was hit with an 80-game performance-enhancing drug suspension. He claims it was a weight less drug, though the reason is irrelevant now.

Dave Dombrowski said the positive test was caused by a weight loss drug Alvarado, 4-1 with a 2.70 ERA and seven saves in seven chances, took during the offseason.
