Google I/O unveiled groundbreaking advancements across its AI ecosystem, with Gemini leading the charge in transforming how we interact with technology,
“Although the feature is experimental, the goal is to increase the speed that you can ship high-quality code, while significantly reducing the amount of time you spend manually testing, validating, or reproducing issues,” wrote Android Studio Product Manager Mayank Jain in a blog post. Other new features for Android Studio enabled by Gemini are:
Google says the release version of 2.5 Flash is better at reasoning, coding, and multimodality, but it uses 20–30 percent fewer tokens than the preview version. This edition is now live in Vertex AI, AI Studio, and the Gemini app. It will be made the default model in early June.
