China successfully launched three new remote-sensing satellites from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwestern Sichuan Province at 11:00 a.m. Beijing Time on Saturday. | CGTN

China on Saturday launched a Long March-2D carrier rocket to place a remote sensing satellite group in space. The satellites, the fourth batch of the Yaogan-35 family, were launched at 1:37 a.m. from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the southwestern province of Sichuan and entered the preset orbit. They will be used to conduct science experiments, land resource surveys and yield estimation of agricultural products as well as disaster prevention and reduction. #rocket #satellite | CGTN China24
