For perfectly cooked rice every time, bake it in the oven. Rinse 1 1/2 cups rice, place in an 8x8 baking dish set on a baking sheet. Add 3 cups boiling water, 2 teaspoons butter or olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375F for 25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes, fluff with a fork and serve.
