High speed train model shows how it runs through Laos. The Lao-China railway project construction started in early 2017 and it’s expected to complete and open the service in the end of 2021. Now, the project is more than 40 percent completed. There will be 32 stations from Boten to Vientiane. It’s more than 414 km long. The train speed is 160 km/hour.
