A high speed boat, caves, crystal water, and an active volcano. Lipari. A small island near Sicily and one of the highlights of my trip. An Italian seaside gift. Snorkeling here meant the strange realisation there was nothing out to kill me. No sharks. No jellyfish. Just rocks, small fish, and my breathing.
